This month has been a bit busy for the team with vacations and other distractions taking a lot of time, so this months update is.. tiny.
Sorry about that, more interesting things are in the works!

Balance updates
- Tweaked material drop chances slightly
- Added rotten ghoul essence as an upgrade material to the new level 30 weapons
- Reduced the amount of gem dust/shards/fragments needed for crafting the next higher tier of gem
- Reduced monster summons from rifts level 45 and 50 (which where increased too much last update)
- Added a few monster summons to rifts level 40, 60 and 65

HOTFIX 08.04.2023

- Added a arrow/highlight of where to go once the dungeon key for Rondor's/Vondor's crypt was found
- The new weapons are now all marked as valuable to prevent accidental sale

Balance updates
- The dungeon key for Rondor's/Vondor's crypt lasts 5 minutes instead of 3 minutes now
- Reduced the werespiders hp
- Slightly raised manticore tail drop chance
- Reduced required materials for teleporter unlocks

- Fixed new weapons not dropping from monsters with their innate enchantments applied
- Fixed missing naming for the new pyramid material "weathered gold chalice"
- Fixed respawn also being forced when dead on the floor for a while in instances
- Fixed Elf Steel Bow dropping +10 from one monster, bows dropped as such will be downgraded to +0
- Fixed a possibility of getting stuck in Rondor's/Vondor's crypt when killing all monsters before the lesser skeleton king so no key drops
- Fixed attack animation timing (especially the mounted attacks were quite off)

New Features
- Added legendary level 30 weapons which posses innate enchantments
- Replaced Rondor's/Vondor's crypt with a new instanced dungeon available from level 10
- Added animal bosses on Nibor/Jurdana
- Weapon upgrading materials were completely overhauled to require less materials and materials in the level range of the weapon. We also reduced the amount of existing materials accordingly (and drop rates were of course also adjusted). Let us know what you think!

Balance updates

- Experience loss from dying to a monster now only happens when respawning where you died
- Players will now automatically "respawn in town" if they lay on the floor dead for over a minute

New Features
- Added an animation for mounting/dismounting
- Added separate, increasing visual effects for every stage (normal/master/grandmaster) of the attack skills. These are a first version and there's some things we still want to change and adjust in the future, they should be a solid improvement across the board though. Let us know which one is your favorite and which skills still need some touching up
- 7 day shop time vouchers are now available in the itemshop
- Rift compasses are now available in the itemshop
- Lucky coins are now available in the itemshop

- You can't mount/unmount while in a house/no mount zone anymore

Balance updates
- When receiving shared experience in a party, your own players exp bonus is now added instead of the original players that got the experience for the party
- When dying to a monster, there is now a chance to lose a few percent of your experience

- Increased the assassins "Rain of Arrows" target area angle (15° to 30°)

- Fixed an issue with the skill "Fan"-type hit detection being offset forwards (affecting the "Rain Of Arrows" skill and one of the hydras attacks)

Actualizaciones de Balance

- Se ha incrementado el encanto de potencia máxima de 50, 100, 150, 200 y 300 a 200, 350, 500, 750 y 1000 respectivamente.
- Se ha ajustado la regeneración de vida de algunos jefes para que sea más rápida, pero en menor cantidad.

Corrección de errores
- Se ha corregido algunos colisionadores de árboles fantasma en Tierra Muerta.
- Se ha corregido el estado de misión completa/fracasada del gremio que no se traducía.
- Se ha corregido el hecho de que la mascota siga al jugador incluso cuando es invisible.
- Se ha corregido un puente no transitable en Jurdana.
- Se ha corregido los dos portales cerca de Kadir que son difíciles de atravesar en el desierto
- Se ha corregido que los efectos visuales (como las partículas de veneno) no se adhieran correctamente a los monstruos.

Mejoras de Balance

- Se ha corregido la velocidad de desplazamiento del almacenamiento de toda la cuenta.
- Se ha corregido el recorte de la ventana del mapa fuera de los límites de la pantalla tras teletransportarse a un mapa de tamaño diferente.
- Se ha corregido el desplazamiento de las barras de la interfaz en la selección de personajes que sigue acercando la cámara
- Se ha corregido el efecto de sonido de la aparición de monstruos en las grietas que no se reproduce en 3d y por lo tanto es audible a distancia
- Se ha corregido que los iconos de equipo no se alineen correctamente en la ventana de comercio
- Se ha corregido que los ataques con la espada del semi demonio no reproducen los sonidos de ataque


Nuevas características
- El equipamiento ahora tiene un pequeño icono al lado para que sea más fácil de distinguir de un vistazo. El icono es rojo si el equipo no es para tu clase de personaje
- La ventana de comercio ahora añade miles como separadores a tu propia oferta de oro
- Ahora puedes mover rápidamente los objetos a la ventana del encantador
- Los objetos y el oro en el suelo ahora parpadean antes de desaparecer
- Ahora puedes comprar hasta 10 stacks de objetos a un npc a la vez
- Ahora puedes comprar rápidamente un stack completo de un npc haciendo clic con el botón derecho y manteniendo la tecla de movimiento rápido (shift por defecto)

This is a direct replacement and upgrade for the previous exp/gold/loot potions obtained from the itemshop.
Depending on your supporter rank, you will be able to pick and choose a combination of these to be active on all players of your account with more perks and goodies to come in the future.
Supporter ranks can be obtained in 1 month increments.

- Tweaked the way environment reflections are rendered to improve visuals during dark/rainy conditions

- The young mega gazer chase radius has been increased significantly

Este mes hemos estado trabajando en algunas modificaciones internas, así que no hay mucho que mostrar todavía. Notarán que hay una nueva sección de ajustes de apoyo en la ventana de la cuenta, habrá más sobre eso el próximo mes.
Además del evento del mes de ramadán, también tenemos un evento de pascua en breve, así que estén atentos.

Nuevas características
- La gestión básica de la cuenta está ahora integrada en la selección de personajes

Nuevas características

Solo para recordarles rapidamente, hemos cambiado a la modalidad de actualizaciones mensuales en lugar de las semanales, por ende la siguiente actualización será a principios de febrero.

- Cuando se disminuyen los puntos de una habilidad, cualquier estatus activo de esa habilidad será removido
- En la interface de objetos solo el nombre y el texto de estos será coloreado acorde a su rareza

UPDATE 23.06.2021

In todays update, we're releasing the first "maintenance" update in which we're doing large changes behind the scenes to keep the game current and optimized. This time we've upgraded our netcode library to a current version, which gives us some performance improvements, but should otherwise be unnoticable.
As with all big changes, there might be some issues that slipped through testing, should you find any please report them in the #bug-report channel on our discord!
Next week, all things going well, an improved network backend should follow which provides lower latency & snappier responses, especially in less ideal network conditions.

- Improved click handling during attacking, it will now just make the character face where you clicked instead of interrupting the attack

- Fixed a desync most commonly seen while attacking on assassins with daggers
- Fixed attacking not resuming on its own after a stun wears off

UPDATE 03.06.2020

New Features
- Added a lot of sounds and sound effects

- Clicking on a target while manually attacking doesn't interrupt attacking anymore, it just changes the target
- You can now attack and pick up items while dragging items around

Balance updates
- Increased overall gold drop slightly

- Fixed some visual glitching with bow/wand attacks when watching other players attack
- Fixed bow/wand projectiles disappearing while still in flight when the target died
- Fixed an edge case in the player collision detection that caused "invisible walls" on some maps (especially noticable in the citys)
- Fixed a bug in the knockback collision detection that caused targets to get stuck on walls as opposed to slide off them
- Fixed a potential desync while attacking with bows or wands
- Fixed a potential desync while using skills with high latency
- Fixed getting stunned while mounted causing the animation to get stuck sometimes

New Features
- New & improved dagger animations for the assassin
- Improved input handling, skills now interrupt automatic attacking for example
- Skills now auto-target an enemy pointed at by the mouse if no target is selected
- Map now contains area names on some maps (more to be added in a future update)
- Added an indicator to the hud that shows when you're in a "safe zone" where no combat is allowed

Balance updates
- Gold bonus now influences the amount of gold per gold pile instead of the chance for a gold pile to drop

- Fixed an edge case that caused some skills to cause any actions right after to desync with the server (e.g. Wizards Impact, half demons Demon Smash)

- Restricted player shop opening in some places (especially near npcs)
- When day&night cycle is disabled in the settings, the time will still move from 9am-5pm

- Fixed missing volcrete on desert map
- Fixed drag&drop buying from npc shops sometimes not showing the item correctly
- Fixed cursor lock not releasing correctly in some circumstances, causing the cursor to stay invisible

- Upon respawn you are now invisible and invincible for a short time
- Camera now follows your characters rotation when auto-walking (this is configurable in the gameplay settings to off/only autowalk/always)

Balance updates
- Weapon-specific defense is now slightly more effective against magic type damage (it is still quite ineffective)
- High level jewellery now has a reasonable sell value

- Fixed excessive lense flares of some building lights
- Fixed popups still being confirmed even when writing to chat

- Fixed not displaying the correct error message when displaying the coin purchase list fails

Team Internal Changes
- The /spawn command is now capped to 100 mobs to prevent bringing down maps on accident (@xen :D)

- Rule against real money trades: `In addition we would also like to mention that any trades for “real life” money are not allowed or supported in any way and will be interpreted as an attempt to scam players and punished accordingly.`
- Clarification of rule against pvp harassment: Too long to copy&paste here, see 2nd paragraph under "Be civil and nice to each other"

As you probably noticed, this weeks update is very small.
We didn't get much done the past week, since part of the dev team has been sick (getting better and nothing serious - so no worries there). In addition to that, with isolation increasing and schools being shut down some of us have also been more occupied watching after their kids and family.
We're also working on some bigger features that will be released over the next month or two, to name a few there's the easter event (that'll be available very soon), guilds and the new HD character models - more about that in due time though.
You can also expect a more detailed post reviewing our progress on the roadmap, review of the suggestions and changes going forward sometime next week which will hopefully clear up some questions and concerns aswell.
