Boss encounters in INFERNA are challenging, rewarding experiences that require preparation, skill, and often teamwork. From solo world bosses to massive raid encounters, defeating these powerful foes yields the best equipment and materials in the game.
Boss Types
World Bosses
Characteristics:
- Spawn in open world at fixed locations
- Respawn every 4-6 hours
- Can be soloed or grouped
- First hit/most damage determines loot rights
- Announces spawn in faction chat
Loot:
- Guaranteed Epic or Legendary equipment
- Corrupted Soul Fragments (for Tincture of Enchantment)
- Large amounts of Gold
- Rare crafting materials

Dungeon Bosses
Characteristics:
- Found at the end of dungeons

Phase Transitions
Multi-Phase Bosses:
- Boss changes behavior at HP thresholds (75%, 50%, 25%)
- New abilities introduced
- May summon additional enemies
- Adjust strategy for each phase
Invulnerability Phases:
- Boss cannot be damaged temporarily
- Must defeat adds or complete mechanic
- Time to heal and recover

Add Spawns
Priority Targets:

Infernumantis (Raid Boss)

Mechanics:
- Hellfire Rain: Red circles appear, deals massive damage
- Demon Summons: Spawns 4 elite demons every 25% HP
- Enrage: 20 minutes, wipes raid if not defeated
- Soul Drain: Steals HP from nearest player, tank must be topped off

- Devouring Maw: Grabs one player, party must DPS to free them
- Enrage: 8 minutes
