PvP Guide
Player versus Player combat in INFERNA is intense, skill-based, and highly rewarding. Master the art of PvP to dominate arenas, faction wars, and open-world encounters.
PvP Zones
Safe Zones (No PvP)
- Starting Areas: Faction starter zones (Levels 1-20)
- Faction Villages: Jerro and Caratas villages
- Respawn Points: Safe until you leave the immediate area
- Penalty: Cannot attack or be attacked
Faction Territories (Restricted PvP)
- Jerro Controlled: Can attack Caratas players only
- Caratas Controlled: Can attack Jerro players only
- Same-Faction Attacks: Possible but results in massive karma loss
- Safety: Relatively safe from your own faction
Neutral Zones (Open PvP)
- Dead Land, Desert, Pyramid, Iceland, Fire Land
- Full PvP: All players can be attacked
- High Risk, High Reward: Best loot and farming spots
- Guild Wars: These zones often host faction conflicts
Arena (Structured PvP)
- Grand Arena: Competitive ranked matches
- 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 modes: Various team sizes
- Matchmaking: Based on level and rating
- Rewards: Exclusive arena gear and titles
PvP Mechanics
Flagging System
Auto-Flagged:
- Entering neutral zones
- Attacking another player
- Participating in faction wars
Flagged Duration:
- Remains for 5 minutes after last hostile action
- Cannot enter safe zones while flagged
- Re-entering safe zone removes flag
Unflagged Protection:
- Cannot be attacked in faction territories
- Can still be challenged to duels
- No protection in neutral zones
Honor and Karma
Honorable Kills:
- Killing enemy faction players: +5 honor
- Killing in Arena: +3 honor
- Winning faction wars: +50 honor
Dishonorable Kills:
- Killing same-faction players: -50 karma, -10 honor
- Killing low-level players (10+ level difference): -20 karma
- Excessive same-player kills: -30 karma (diminishing honor)
Honor Rewards:
- 500 Honor: Basic PvP Gear
- 2,000 Honor: Advanced PvP Weapons
- 5,000 Honor: Elite PvP Armor Sets
- 10,000 Honor: Legendary PvP Mounts & Titles
PvP Combat Tips
Pre-Combat Preparation
Consumables:
- Stack 100+ health potions (8-second cooldown)
- Carry mana potions for skill-intensive classes
- Buff elixirs (+20% damage for 30 minutes)
- Food buffs (+HP regeneration)
Equipment:
- Enhance weapons to +7 minimum
