The world in one sentence
On the night of the Infernumantis, the Erebion Seal broke in front of the Gate of Erebion. The Rifts are visible consequences of that break; they are not the cause of the conflict.
Important terms
- Pangeus – the world of the game.
- Gate of Erebion – the hell gate beneath Pangeus, once sealed by the Erebion Seal.
- Heart of the Sealer / Erebion Seal – the broken seal whose repair is meant to protect Pangeus.
- Abyssus corruption – a formless corruption that changes whatever it touches.
- Survivors – the player characters; they are not predetermined saviors.
