Enchanting system

Enchantments give items additional attributes. Which enchantment slots and attributes are available depends on the specific item.

Enchantment slots

• Normal item groups can have up to three enchantment slots.
• Certain special equipment can receive a fourth slot.
• Pets and some special weapons can have up to five slots.

The number depends on the enchantment group assigned to the item.

NPCs and materials

Argo is your contact for enchanting. The available action depends on the relevant dialogue and item. Ingredients and quantities are listed in the recipe.

The Enchantment Tincture is required for additional enchantments on suitable equipment. The maximum is still determined by the item's enchantment group.

Enchant or refine?

Refinement increases an item's level, for example from +0 up to +10. Enchanting affects additional attributes and enchantment slots. Both systems can matter for the same item, but they are not the same process.
