We're rolling out a new build introducing a long-requested Rift variant, alongside a couple of important pet-related improvements.

Attackable Rifts

A long-requested feature has arrived: Attackable Rifts!

These new Rift variants are held open by a Rift Anchor — a previously unseen Abyssus Artifact. Unlike regular Rifts, you will not need to defeat wave after wave of enemies to close them.

Instead, your objective is simple: destroy the Rift Anchor to collapse the Rift.

Anchored Rifts can now spawn on all regular maps alongside the existing wave-based Rifts, giving players a new way to fight back against the Abyssus.

Other Improvements

PvP Pet Bonus Fix:
- Fixed an issue with the PvP Pet where some bonuses were not upgraded properly.
- Existing Pets will receive their correct bonus the next time they are upgraded.

Mystic Item EXP Elixir Update:
- The Mystic Item EXP Elixir will now notify you when your pet's item EXP is already at the maximum.

🌀 Rift Jumper Event

The Rifts are calling, and this time you can reach them faster than ever before.

During the Rift Jumper Event, defeating Rifts gives you a chance to receive special Rift Jumper Wings. These wings remember the type of Rift you defeated and allow you to jump directly to a matching active Rift.

What can you expect?

• Defeat Rifts during the event period.
  
• Receive Rift Jumper Wings with a bit of luck.
  
• Use the wings to travel directly to the next matching active Rift.
  
• Farm more efficiently, move through the world faster, and make the most of the event time.
  

The wings have a limited number of uses, so use them wisely. For active Rift hunters, this event is the perfect opportunity to close more Rifts in less time.

Event time:

Every two weeks on Saturday from 20:00 to 00:00.

Changes & Improvements

Blood/Hurt Overlay Reset:
- The Blood/Hurt overlay is now properly reset when loading into the game, preventing leftover visual effects from previous sessions.

Character Selection Improvements:
- Improved the loading indicator in character selection for a more consistent and reliable experience.

Mount Desync Logging:
- Added additional logging for mount states to help track down login-related desync issues.
- If you encounter this issue, simply cast a skill to sync up and send us the relevant info.

Footstep Effects & Sounds:
- Fixed issues with footstep visual effects and sounds to ensure they play correctly.

Skill Effect Cleanup:
- Skill effects such as Chain Lightning are now properly reset when spawning.
- This prevents lingering visual effects from trailing off into empty areas.

Pathfinding Update:
- Updated the pathfinding plugin for slightly improved performance.
- Includes support for additional features that will be utilized in future updates.

Load Balancer Stability:
- Fixed a rare crash in our load balancer that could occur under specific circumstances.
